Young children thrive best in a dynamic, energetic environment because their nature at this stage in life is to explore, ask questions discover and experiment. Your child’s day will be filled with learning and play activities, directed by our professional staff. Our activities and curriculum are designed to match children’s respective levels of development while fostering intellectual, social and physical growth.
We utilize A Beka curriculum, a nationally renowned Christian program of study built upon the foundation of scripture. The goal of A Beka curriculum is to keep learning lively, interesting and memorable for all ages through God-honoring, high-quality textbooks and teaching materials.
Your children will engage in many age-appropriate activities and lessons:
- 2-Year-olds: Language Development, Listening Skills, Numbers, Bible
- 3-Year-olds: Language Development, Listening Skills, Numbers, Bible
- 4-Year-olds: Language Development, Listening Skills, Phonics & Reading, Numbers, Bible
In addition to A Beka curriculum, we also use the Bible Train and Chapel to support spiritual development. The Bible Train visits each room in the nursery area, and stories are shared using drama, music, videos and other media. Older children participate in daily Chapel during which drama, puppets, music and much more allow them to express their faith and experience the Glory of God’s love for them. Prayer also is incorporated into daily activities and learning experiences.
We recognize that young children are active learners. Our “circle time” with teachers and our specialized learning centers are an important part of the educational landscape. With learning centers, children are able to choose the centers in which they would like to work. Allowing them to select their individual learning area(s) gives them an opportunity to make decisions and work in areas that stimulate and interest them. Our centers include:
