It is a privilege to work hand-in-hand with parents to enrich the lives of children. You are the most important people in their lives, and that’s why it’s important we communicate together to best meet the needs and interests of your child(ren).
Staff:
All teachers and caregivers are trained and experienced in the area of childcare each with their own uniqueness to love, care for, relate to and teach children. All workers have been screened and have undergone thorough background checks and extensive interviews. Staff trained in First Aid and CPR are on the premises at all times and all workers regularly participate in childcare development classes and workshops. They also attend training courses to remain knowledgeable and abreast of the most current child development issues.
Security:
Security is a high priority at Grace Kidz World. To ensure the safety and protection of all our children, all parents must follow our guidelines and policies. Parents select a four-digit security code, which is used to clock their child in an out of the facility each day. No child will be released without checking their child out at the front desk and receiving a hall pass, which is given to the teacher. Children will only be released to individuals designated on their enrollment records. We will require any person other than parents to show a photo ID. For the comfort of parents, we invite you to call or visit the Center at any time to see how your child is doing.
Medical Emergencies:
All staff is trained in infant/child CPR and first aid. In the case of an emergency or injury, the necessary first aid will be administrated and the center director will call an ambulance. The director will also call the parents to notify them of the condition of their child and what action is being taken. If the parents cannot be reached, the center will begin calling the names listed as emergency contacts in their enrollment records. All emergencies or injuries will be documented in writing with a copy being given to the family.
Personal Items:
Please make sure all items belonging to your child are labeled including diapers, bottles, bags, backpacks, blankets and any other personal articles from home. We ask that each child, including infants, have at least two extra changes of clothing at the Center as well.
Grace Kidz World does not discriminate in providing service to children and to their families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation or disabilities.
